22025-06-09 08:08catgirlseraid I'm unsure about the sport=surfing without a name too. This was a node converted to an area as part of a area=yes on nodes cleanup, it wasn't creating any new information. This is the ID of the original node https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/12036802068

I'll leave them. I looked through the original contribution and it seems they were mostly from Strava surfing heatmaps, which is mostly just mapping the popular surfing spots. It just seemed odd seeing them mapped but the more I think about it the more I think it's reasonable.

hey, these should probably be highway=track + access=private, otherwise GPS software will start telling people to drive thru these private farms

some more details here: http://osm.wiki/Tag:highway=track
22025-05-22 11:49catgirlseraid Added access=private to the service roads but kept them as service as i belive it suits them better as they also provide access to businesses and houses, as well as farmland.

Most examples of detailed indoor mapping I looked at included barrier=wall, so I did so here. I checked the wiki, it seems you're right that it's implied - indoor=room has walls, indoor=area does not. So I agree with your decision to remove the tags :)
22025-05-07 12:37catgirlseraid I thought barrier=wall was correct too, but someone in the OSM World Discord who is familar with indoor mapping pointed out they shouldn't be there as its implied. Don't worry, i wasn't aware either until their comment<3

Hi,

Thanks for mapping these one a piece.

I did however restore the panels you deleted in the South end, e.g. https://www.openstreetmap.org/way/1320335408/history - these do in fact exist and are newer than the aerial imagery, which is a few years old.

How long does it take you to micromap so many carparks? Or do you have a JOSM preset/plugin that makes it easier?
22025-02-21 04:26catgirlseraid it depends a lot on what angle the car parks are, but using josm plugins and a lot of josm features does speed it up.
