Hey, I just wanted to let you know that I noticed you accidentally made an invalid opening_hours=* tag.

For way 212938558 "tue-fri 14:00-19:00; sa-sun 11:00-18:00" should actually be formatted as "Tu-Fr 14:00-19:00; Sa-Su 11:00-18:00". The wiki is a great reference, and the ev...

Hi, I understood the purpose of bot is among others to heal missing country codes.
At node 8248254266 you changed phone=+49 800 9293600 to
phone=0800 9293600,
the bot did the opposite and deleted a correct country code.

Thank you for asking, please see the discussions here https://community.openstreetmap.org/t/proposed-automated-edit-korrektur-von-telefonnummern-in-deutschland-basierend-auf-phonenumbervalidator/142498/10 and here https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/183345368

Understood.
But please see as well one comment from the mentioned discussion:
"If you want to enter them without the +49, you should first make sure that this isn’t flagged as an error in OSMOSE."

Please be aware that you've unknowingly engaged in an edit war here. Your fixing of the phone number formatting is absolutely correct, but maybe consider implementing some sort of detection for this kind of thing.

After a further report, I have implemented a tracker and the bot will not edit an element that has been edited by the bot within the past month (going forward)

Hallo confusedbuffalo-bot,

kannst Du dir den Änderungssatz: 183345453 noch einmal anschauen?

In this CS, exactly the opposite of what was presumably intended has happened: all country codes (+49) that had already been entered have been removed! Even 0800 numbers require the country code for calls from abroad. Please correct this!

Best regards,
Andreas

Try keeping these changes localized their respective areas as much as possible. No need for this to span between the Harrisburg and Philly areas.

I feel like this sort of topic has been discussed many times before, of whether to have many individual changesets or fewer but limited in scope. My conclusion is that there are various suitable tools to analyse history which allow filtering by where edits are being ma...

I don't quite know what you mean there.

This edit only changed the phone value of https://www.openstreetmap.org/node/3442248118 and did not change any other tags nor revert the phone tag to its previous value.

The bot made the node look like a regular business, but it just looks like a private house. I doubt they would want people showing up 24 hours a day, but that is what may happen. I would have deleted this node.
2 ~ 6 months agoconfusedbuffalo
♦450
I'm not quite sure which of the nodes edited here you are talking about, but it wasn't the bot that made it look like a regular business, but rather the original edit would have done that.

It was the DAV Construction LLC node.
