Hi, the website for the Flying Fleece says they’re temporarily closed until 3rd February (https://www.theflyingfleece.co.uk/). Are they actually going to be closed for longer.

Not sure a temporary closure of the pub warrants completely deleting it from the map!
22023-01-29 19:05RossA I didn’t see anything when I walked past on the pub but as you say the website says otherwise. It needs reinstating. My mistake.

Thanks for clarifying!

I’ve re-added the node and its address data in https://www.openstreetmap.org/changeset/131846447, but left it tagged as closed for now. It’ll be fairly easy to mark it as open again when it does reopen.

Thanks!

Hi, in the change a number of ways (31140891, 299417582, 41121952, 43462076, 5096325) have been set with foot=permissive;yes. Can you please review and set one value or the other as appropriate?

Thanks,
Mike
22018-04-17 15:53RossA Well spotted Mike - what do you use to spot this sort of thing? I’ve corrected I think but will double check when home later.

I use mkgmap to build a Garmin map from OSM data, and my build process includes checks for various things, one of which is unrecognised access values.

There is also way 292244991 with
highway=track;steps
No idea if a track can have steps, but I think it is more likely that this is a hw=path or hw=bridleway.

Hi, this edit seems very odd and a little wrong.

The Cock is primarily a pub, a very good one with 10 handpulls. That is why it was mapped as amenity=pub. It a bit of a stretch to call it a hotel, it has a few rooms hence the accomodation=yes tag, which you seem to have removed. Why do you consid...

If these ways are private, how do customers access the campsite?
